DedCool has built fragrance for a younger generation—a way of making scent less intimidating and more experimental. Their approach: genderless fragrances with complementary base notes designed to mix, match, and layer until you find your signature combination. The challenge: how do you make fragrance feel approachable for an audience that thinks perfume is “out of touch”?

As Brand Copywriter, I wrote messaging that made fragrance feel like self-expression, not luxury. From launching a Hand + Body collection to developing copy for collaborations with OUAI (laundry detergent) and Starface (car air fresheners), the work spanned every touchpoint where scent meets daily life.

And just like DedCool, my copy ranged across a wide range of mediums: one day it was copy for Dryer Sheets, the next it was copy for an Aura Chart email.
